Laura VanderPloeg

I am a proud HC alumna but since then I’ve traveled to 28 countries, served as a missionary in Mexico, lived overseas in Germany, studied abroad in Spain, and worked with families from a variety of countries in the US. I graduated with a B.A. in Spanish and Linguistics from Dordt University and a Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma. I love learning about people, languages and cultures because it opens doors to form meaningful relationships and share the gospel. I’m excited to work at Holland Christian where I get to help students explore the diverse world God has made through the Spanish Immersion Program. My hope is that they too learn to love God with all their hearts and develop skills to engage in a diverse world in order to leave a kingdom impact.
