I started out in college food service, which stretched throughout many colleges over 20 years, including Hope and Aquinas Colleges, Notre Dame University, and Biola University in California. Later, with Chartwells Corporation, I oversaw Grand Haven Public Schools food service and was promoted to district manager overseeing 15 west Michigan school districts. I have had the privilege of serving Holland Christian students and staff since 2008 in a beautiful facility. In 2012, I began a shared director position with GRCS. I enjoy the flexibility of working in both districts with excellent food service staff.
I live in GR, am a confessed foodie, and enjoy the adventure of new restaurants. I have two children who are in college. My goal is that our food service team provides the nutrition that our students desire, whether that’s a warm bagel from the Well, a Chef’s Choice lunch, a smile at the cashier station, or just encouragement.
