Greetings,
We added a couple of new things beginning second semester: We have taught lessons to our students on how to behave positively in different areas of our school. We are doing this as we strive to get our students to love our neighbors and serve others. The second thing we did is we added parent emails one by one to our house system. This is so you can get positive emails about your middle schooler. An email was sent to one parent per student, which follows the same attached script as this email You will need to follow the steps outlined in your email to receive any emails from us regarding the house points. Your email was sent somewhere between 1/14-1/20.
As we begin thinking about next year, we do have room for more students at the middle school. I have noticed that some of our 50 new students this year joined because of people recommending to others to check out our middle school. If you have done this, thank you for doing so! If you do find someone interested, let them know they can set up a shadow day for the middle schooler(s) and/or do a tour while we are in session. Please put this item on your prayer list as well.
Also pray for our staff as we continually work at equipping the minds and nurturing the hearts of your middle schooler to transform the world for Christ. Pray that each middle schooler can flourish both at school and at home. Pray that each of us loves the Lord our God with all our heart and with all our soul, and loves our neighbor as ourselves, so we can be a light to the world.

Livestreaming
Just a reminder, if your student is out with COVID-related sickness or quarantine, livestreaming is an option if they are feeling up to it. Please note, with the stream of changing students, if a teacher forgets or is late starting the link, please feel free to email the office (ms@hollandchristian.org) and Mrs. Kruithof or Mrs. Zwiep can check with the teacher as to if they are streaming class or not. Thank you for your patience with this.
