We are so excited to have kids and families back at Pine Ridge! There is an air of excitement each morning and the hallways are full of lively chatter and laughter. Thank you for making the start of the year great! As we start to live into the rhythm of “school life” it makes me reflect on how we live through seasons of life, and of the passage from Ecclesiastes 3:1 that says, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” I want to remember this, there is a time for EVERY activity–and I don’t know about you, but that gives me a sense of freedom. As we live out this year together I pray that all our activities would be centered around our highest priority, Jesus. That we would set up our days with things that matter and that help us lead others to live their lives for Jesus. Thank you for your partnership this year. Happy 2022-23 school year!

Pine Ridge Carpool Line
Thank you for working with us to get the drop off and pick up procedures running smoothly! A few quick reminders:
- All cars must use the Graafschap Entrance!
- Please remember to NOT stop in the traffic circle at any time as the buses use this as well.
- During pick up, please remember to use your hazard lights from when you turn in the drive until your student is safely in the vehicle.
- If you need to park to enter the building, please park along the tree line.

Feel free to leave a voicemail or send us an email at any time to excuse your student, let us know about appointments or any changes to your student’s normal pickup routine. It is important the office knows as well as your student’s teacher!
Picture Day
Pine Ridge picture day will be on September 22. Picture forms will be sent home soon. Please return these forms as quickly as possible to school so we have them all ready to go on picture day. If your student would like a yearbook, they need to be ordered on this form even if you do not wish to order photos.
Moms In Prayer
Moms in Prayer is a great way to connect with other moms, pray for your child, and have an impact on Pine Ridge. Please join us on Fridays starting September 9 at Providence Church 8:30-9:30am. Contact Nicole Shook with questions.
Elementary Unified Soccer Team
Interested in an inclusive sport opportunity? Unified Sports is a part of the Unified Champion Schools program offered through Special Olympics. It is a unique and inclusive athletic opportunity for students with and without disabilities to play together on the same team, making athletics more accessible for students who may not otherwise be included or invited to be on a team. Holland Christian and Zeeland Christian partner to form the Maroons Unified team. We are offering soccer this fall and are looking for partners to join the team. If you are interested in this opportunity for your child, please fill out this Google form.
The selection of partners will be first come, first served, while maintaining an equal balance of students from both HC and ZCS so the team is truly a combined team. Please email ejohnson@hollandchristian.org with questions.
Holland Christian Girls Cheer Clinic
The HC alumni cheerleaders have an opportunity for PK-5th girls interested in cheer with an upcoming clinic on Saturday, September 17 and at the Homecoming football game on Friday, September 23.
