The Tuition Grant Fund (TGF) provides tuition assistance to families who demonstrate a financial need–approximately 30% of HCS students each year. Therefore the Tuition Grant Fund has made Christian education available to many families who desire a Christ-centered education for their children, while also increasing the economic diversity of our student body.
It’s a fund that keeps giving out ($1,000,000 each year!), so it also needs to be continually added to. Last year more than 1,400 people, churches and companies financially supported the Tuition Grant Fund. To reach our $1,000,000 each year, we kindly request parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends of Holland Christian Schools to prayerfully consider a donation to this fund, as well as to participate in any of the quality events listed below.
But we also want to say thank you. We as a school say a huge thank you to all who support the TGF, because we get to teach and love kids we wouldn’t otherwise know. Our school community is better for it. And the families who receive tuition aid through the TGF are also hugely grateful for the chance to attend Holland Christian, when they otherwise would not be able to without it. Support an evening of gathering as a community over a delicious dinner, and being encouraged and challenged through a captivating speaker. Enjoy this night of inspiration as you host your colleagues and friends at your sponsored table. A tax receipt will be issued for sponsorships with tickets less $400 for goods and services received.
We rent the entire Wuskowhan facility and will have this beautiful, private course all to ourselves! This event is a combined Men’s and Women’s scramble with limited foursomes available. Soak in the breathtaking views and enjoy a fun day of golf with your friends, spouse, or colleagues. Each tiered sponsorship includes one foursome. A tax receipt will be issued for sponsorships, less $1,400 per foursome for goods and services received.
The Kids’ Stuff Resale has blessed our community with an opportunity for families to sell used clothing and also to buy great products at an affordable price, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Tuition Grant Fund.
The Tuition Grant Fund Auction begins with a week-long virtual auction, and concludes with our in-person live auction and dinner party. With over 400 registrants, it’s Holland Christian’s largest fundraising event. It’s a week of great fun, and a great cause!
