I often eat kale in secret, when no one is looking. I sometimes smile so much that my face hurts. I rarely meet someone I don't consider a friend. I find deep joy in teaching children about the grace of Jesus that has transformed my life. Hope College was a great beginning for undergraduate teacher training. I also have masters' degrees in music education and theology. With well over 20 years of teaching in elementary, I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of the Holland Christian family. You are an amazing group of people, and I'm so honored by the way you love God, love each other, and love others. I have three beautiful, dirt-smudged children at Rose Park and an amazing husband, Ryan, who is the pastor at Zion Lutheran Church in Holland.
