Ashley Hernandez
I was born and raised in Holland and at the age of 14, my family moved to Chiapas, Mexico, where we lived for six years serving as missionaries. This is where my passion for language began and it has grown over the years. I graduated from Hope in 2007 with a B.A. in Spanish and education. I taught for 16 years at Zeeland Christian in a variety of different grades and subject areas within the Spanish Immersion program. It is my desire to share my experiences and knowledge with the students and families that we serve at HC. What a gift we have to be able to communicate in other languages with our brothers and sisters in Christ. My husband, Domingo, and I have three children at HCHS: Sofia, Alex and Bella, and we love supporting and encouraging them in ALL of their many activities.
