I graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Hope College in 1992, and went on to earn a master's degree in elementary education from Western Michigan University. I have been a teacher at Holland Christian since 1994.

My husband Kevin and I have three boys, Nate, Curtis and Lucas. As a family we enjoy spending time together and with friends, and time at the lake.

As parents, Kevin and I sent our children to Holland Christian because we desired to provide them every opportunity to grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ. As a teacher, I want the children in my classroom to experience Christ in every part of their day.
