I graduated from Hope College in 1992 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Language Arts and an Elementary Education Certificate. I went on to substitute teach in area school districts before being hired by Holland Christian Schools in 1994. I earned my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Western Michigan University.

My husband Kevin and I have three boys, Nate, Curtis and Lucas. As a family we enjoy spending time together and with friends, time at the lake, and attending sporting events.

As parents, Kevin and I send our children to Holland Christian because we want to give them every opportunity to grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ. As a teacher, I want the children in my classroom to experience Christ in every part of their day.
