I graduated from Calvin College and taught in Kentwood Public Schools before staying home full time when my husband, Tim, and I had our three children: Michael, Jonathan, and Becca. When they entered school, I returned to part-time work at Engedi Church and am now thrilled to be working at Holland Christian. I love being a part of our mission to both equip student minds as they learn and grown and nurture student hearts as they meet Jesus and fall in love with him.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing board games with my family, serving in children’s ministry at church, and scrapbooking family memories on the computer. My favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:38-39 which tells us that God’s love is so big and so strong that nothing can ever separate us from it.
