I received a B.A. in Biblical Languages (2010) and an M.T.S. in Old Testament (2014). Afterward, I studied Hebrew through Randall Buth's Biblical Language Center. I've spent over a decade editing academic texts for West Michigan publishers, such as Baker and Zondervan. More recently, I've begun writing a few works of my own. I live with my wife, Sarah, and our six children in Lowell, MI. We have a few goats and chickens to keep life interesting. My hobbies include tennis, soccer, upright bass, and a wide range of card games. I'm grateful for the opportunities God has given me to study Scripture, and for the opportunity to share that experience with students at Holland Christian. I love the rich questions that arise when we read Scripture in its original languages and on its own terms.
