I have been teaching at Holland Christian since 2014, starting at Rose Park before moving into the Middle School. I graduated from Calvin University with a degree in Elementary Education, and completed my Master’s degree in Teacher Leadership through Dordt. Before teaching, my work at Camp Roger and in outdoor education deeply influenced my teaching philosophy, sparking a lifelong passion for science and nature. I find great joy in helping students discover the world God has created through outdoor learning experiences that enhance their learning from within the classroom.
