After graduating from the Elementary Education program at Calvin College with a focus on science and math in 2012, I worked worked as a math interventionist and worked in outdoor education before coming to Rose Park. Throughout college I worked at Camp Roger which solidified my passion for pursuing education and led me to seek a teaching position in upper elementary. I also hold a Master's of Education degree through Dordt College. I feel very blessed to have been teaching at Holland Christian in 5th and 6th grade for the past several years! I am passionate about math and science and learning more about the world God has given to us. Outside of school, I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, and generally being outdoors. I also love playing guitar and making music.
