I graduated from Taylor University in 2001 with a B.A. in English and Secondary Education. I then completed YWAM’s Discipleship Training School studying missions and biblical worldview, and worked in Thailand. In 2006 after teaching and coaching in Delaware, I moved to El Paso, Texas, to work with mission teams in Mexico. God soon made it clear to me that He was calling me back to Christian education and led me to HC. I enjoy hiking, reading, exploring new places, and drinking good coffee. My husband, Matt, and I have three children: Amelia, Annie, and Henry. We attend Engedi Church where we lead a small group. Reading and writing are gifts, and it is a privilege and responsibility to teach students how to use those gifts to be critical thinkers and seekers of God’s truth. My prayer is that He will draw each student to know Him deeply and that He will use me to serve others with truth and love.
