I graduated from Calvin University with a B.A. in Physical Education and completed an M.A. in Athletic Administration from Western Michigan University. My wife Michelle and I live in Holland with our four children: Jackson, William, Avery, and Claire.

Since my first year teaching at Holland Christian in 2003, this community is woven into nearly every day of our family’s life and we are deeply grateful for the commitment to the education of the whole student. I love watching my own children and all Holland Christian students grow through competition and educational athletics, where character, courage, teamwork, and faith are formed alongside academic learning.
