I was born and raised in Holland and graduated from Holland Christian. After high school I joined the United States Marine Corps and served six years in the reserves. During that time I completed my degree in Physical Education and Health from Calvin University. I also completed my Masters at Western Michigan University. Physical Education is an excellent and essential way of seeing the Lord through ways that are not always attainable in a regular classroom setting. This is the student’s opportunity to see God through themselves by learning through the physical. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
