I am a Holland Christian graduate and received my B.A. from Calvin College and my M.A. in Early Childhood Education from Grand Valley State University. I have been blessed to teach kindergarten at Holland Christian since 2006. I am married to Tom Strikwerda, the principal of Holland Christian Middle School, and we have been blessed with three adult children and four grandchildren. We enjoy spending time together, especially outdoors, and are members of Calvary Christian Reformed Church. I am honored to teach in a Christian school, where both lessons and everyday moments provide opportunities to remind children that they are God’s unique and dearly loved creation. My desire is that each child not only sings “Jesus Loves Me,” but truly knows that love in their heart.
