I have a B.A. from Hope College and a M.A. from WMU. I've spent the majority of my career as a Reading Specialist in Illinois. Yet, some of my most fulfilling work was when God called me to homeschool my children during their early school years. In 2022 we relocated to be close to family and were blessed to find a home in Holland! Our children, Nell and Gabe, attend Holland Christian. My husband, Bobby, and I enjoy renovating our historic home and treasure hunting at antique markets. Thrifting books to add to our home library is an activity my kids and I love to do together. During summer we travel in our camper to see as much of the U.S. as possible! However, we look forward to winter when we hunker down at home and boil maple syrup. It gives me great joy to be teaching in a classroom again!
