After receiving my PhD at the University of Michigan, I volunteered with Bible Study Fellowship and numerous churches across the United State while I homeschooled my own children (for elementary school). My husband Tim and I moved to Holland in 2004, and my older son was part of the first class of HC2 at Pine Ridge. After my oldest three children graduated from Holland Christian and my fourth began attending HC full-time, I was excited to begin teaching in the HC2 program.

HC has blessed my children, as teachers saw each of them as individuals with God-given gifts, and I seek to see each student as a gift from God as they learn and grow into their gifts and callings.
