Linda Knapper
I graduated from Calvin University with my BS in accounting, and from Cornerstone University with my MBA, with a finance concentration. Before transitioning to the education sector, I worked most recently as an independent consultant for a diverse range of industries including insurance, automotive, homeowner property, technology, and construction. I enjoyed the majority of my career at Farmers Insurance in Los Angeles, CA from 2009 to 2023. While there, I held several leadership roles including Director of Claims Strategic Planning and Director of Finance for both the Auto and Property claims lines of business. My experience at Farmers included various finance, strategy planning, and accounting roles, while also being actively involved with inclusion initiatives such as the Women’s Inclusion Network. Early in my career, I worked as an auditor in public accounting for BDO in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I currently serve as the treasurer for the non-profit Grounded Community Health, an organization focused on bringing physical and mental health services to Allegan County. I enjoy an active life with my husband, Knoa, and our two children, who are at Pine Ridge and HCMS. Together we stay busy coaching our kids’ Holland Rovers select soccer teams. I also enjoy traveling, gardening, skiing during the winter, staying active, and spending time with friends and family.
