After graduating from HCHS, I earned my BA in Elementary Education from Hope College with a Language Arts endorsement in middle school. Over the years, I have taught a variety of grade levels in the Chicago suburbs and at the American School in London. I also worked with Grand Valley State University mentoring first-year teachers in the Battle Creek school system. My husband, David, and I have three young boys who all attend Holland Christian's Forest School. We moved from Chicago to Michigan in 2021, drawn by the opportunity to be closer to family and raise our children in an intentional, nature-rich environment. I'm grateful to be part of the Holland Christian Forest School staff, where learning grows beyond the classroom and into the beauty and wonder of the outdoors.
