After 18 years of -40° winters and "You Betcha!", I moved from Anoka, Minnesota to Michigan to attend Calvin College, where I earned a B.A. in English and Education and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. After Calvin College, my wife, Sarah, and I married and moved to the D.R. to teach at Santiago Christian School together. From there, we moved back to Michigan to serve at The Potter’s House. Sarah and I have four children, Malachi, Aaliyah, Marihaah, and Naomi. God has established such a rich history to build upon at HC and a beautiful mission of forming faithful disciples of Jesus who may effect positive change in the Kingdom of God. I am so thankful to be serving in this square inch of the Garden alongside this amazing HC staff.
