I graduated from Calvin University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Science Studies and Grand Valley State University with an M.Ed. Since then, I have enjoyed field based courses through the University of Alaska and a variety of STEM/STEAM programs. I also took a leave of absence to teach in Niger, West Africa. I have taught science and social studies at Holland Christian.

The more I learn, the more amazed I am at the order, beauty and complexity of the universe and the more in awe of the Creator I am. I love the opportunity to grow with students in our understanding and I pray as we learn, we all see God more clearly, grow in our awe of Him, grow in stewardship of our gifts and grow in our desire and ability to walk with Him in His paths with wisdom, grace and joy!
