I graduated from Kalamazoo College in 2013 with a degree in history. I then served as an English teacher with the Peace Corps in Nicaragua. After returning to the US, I obtained my MA in TESOL at Cornerstone University and taught for 7 years for the Short Term Immigrant Foster Care program at Bethany Christian. I began teaching at Holland Christian in 2026. Multilingualism is a gift that opens doors of communication to people of “every tribe and tongue” (Rev. 5:9) and allows us to share in part of the beauty of the world’s diverse cultures. I’m glad I can take part in the lifelong process of language learning alongside the students in HC’s Spanish Immersion program. I live in Holland with my wife, Delma. We enjoy hiking, travel, reading, board games, and visiting with family and friends
