I graduated from Calvin College in 2012 with a degree in Secondary Education with a major in English and a minor in History. During the end of my educational career, I had the amazing opportunity to student teach at Holland Christian High School. This experience cemented my belief that God was calling me to the field of teaching. I have been blessed to teach at Holland Christian Middle School since the fall of 2012. I am married to the love of my life, Heather, and together we have a daughter and a son, Josephine and Lochlan. I attend Maple Avenue Church, here in Holland. I love to read, write, and play board games.
