Originally from Grosse Pointe, MI, I made my way to West Michigan through Hope College, where I graduated in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education with an English major. Though I initially planned to pursue teaching, I spent the next 15 years working in our family business, developing low-income housing. Spring of 2025, I took on a long-term substitute teaching position--and felt right at home. I’m now thrilled to begin a new chapter in the career that has long been close to my heart. My husband Nick '97 and I have four amazing children: Lily, Sophia, Ella and Bennett, two of whom are currently at HCHS. I’m incredibly grateful that God has led me to this opportunity. In my free time, you’ll find me swinging a pickleball paddle, a golf club, or cheering on the sidelines as a spectator of my kids’ sports.
