I grew up in Iowa and graduated from Hope College in 2017 with a BA in Exercise Science and a minor in Health Education. After graduating, I married my husband and later we moved to Memphis, TN for me to complete the Memphis Teacher Residency. I earned a Masters of Urban Education and taught middle school science for three years. We moved back to Holland in 2021 and I took a break from teaching while raising our two beautiful children. In my spare time, I like to read, workout, play games and with my family go to the beach, hike, bike and grab donuts from DeBoers. I am excited to be a part of the Holland Christian community and form new Godly relationships. My hope is to instill the love of learning in my students and an appreciation for the beautiful and mysterious world God created.
