After graduating from Calvin College in 2009 with a K-12 Spanish and Secondary English degree, I taught ESL in Mexico for four years. While in Mexico, I also completed a Master's in TESOL through Biola University. In 2013, I moved to Costa Rica, where I taught high school English literature to Costa Rican students for six years. Living abroad profoundly shaped who I am today and the ways in which I see God at work in the world. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Javier, and our three young children--two daughters and a son. You can generally find me reading or doing puzzles in my spare time. Several years ago, I was privileged to complete my student teaching here at Holland Christian. I am thrilled to be back here now as a teacher and to be a part of this beautiful community.
