My journey to the classroom has taken many meaningful turns, and each experience has strengthened my passion for helping children learn and grow. I earned an AAS in OT from Cape Fear CC and completed a BS in Psychology at Fayetteville St. University. Over the years, I have served in several roles at HC, including as a Forest Program Aide and in classroom support positions. Those experiences, along with completing my teaching certification, confirmed God's calling on my life and prepared me for the joy of leading my own classroom. My husband and I have four children who attend HC, and it has been a blessing to experience this community both as a parent and now as an educator. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, bike riding, reading and cooking.
