I received a B.A. in elementary education from Calvin College and an M.A. in elementary education from Western Michigan University.
I taught 3rd grade at Quisqueya Christian School in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and 5th grade at Cutlerville Christian School for six years. Since 2011 I have served at HCS as an instructional assistant and Title I reading and math interventionist. My husband, Dan, and I have three children.
I enjoy partnering with parents to encourage and direct God’s children as they grow academically, socially, and spiritually. My goal is for my students to become a community of learners that treats each other with respect and works to understand each other’s challenges. Together we encourage each other to celebrate God’s goodness and become compassionate and creative problem solvers in His world.
