My name is Mychala TenHarmsel and I have been at HC Forest School since 2021. I originally started as a kindergarten assistant, but recently took the role as lead teacher in 2023. I graduated from Northern Michigan University in 2021 with a bachelors in Outdoor Recreation Leadership & Management and minor in Environmental Studies. I since have acquired my teaching certificate in 2026 (once I realized how much I love these kinders ;)). When I'm not at school, you can find me outside hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, gardening or reading! I LOVE being in God's creation with my husband, Dylan, and dog, Cooper. God has blessed me so richly with this position and I couldn't imagine spending my work day doing anything else.
