I earned my B.A. from Calvin University and my Master’s degree from Concordia. Before coming to Holland Christian in 1995, I taught at SDCH in Smithville, Ontario, and at Timothy Christian in Elmhurst, Illinois. I am blessed to be married to my wife, Karen, a kindergarten teacher at South Side. We have three children—Mark, Emily, and Sarah—and are grateful to be grandparents. Outside of school I enjoy mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and hiking. I am honored to serve as principal of Holland Christian Middle School, where we equip minds and nurture hearts to transform the world for God, guided by Philippians 2:3,4.
