We are thrilled to announce that Holland Christian will be launching a Young 5s program within our Forest School (K-2nd) beginning in the 2026–27 school year! This new program will be housed at our newly acquired property, affectionately named “Cedar Creek.” You can view more of the property in this reel with Forest School Principal Miska Rynsburger.
The desire for nature-immersed Young 5s learning opportunities have been expressed within our community, including both from parents and the ODC. We are grateful to be in a position to help meet this need and expand our program offerings!
To be in any Young 5s classroom, students must be 5 years old by December 1, 2026. Priority admission for Forest School Young 5s will be given to students seeking a 5-day program offering, though there may be a 3-day option depending on interest.
We can’t wait to see how Cedar Creek becomes a joyful place of wonder and discovery for our new Forest School Young 5s!
