HCHS’ Entrepreneurship Class is thankful for your business! This fall our Entrepreneurship Class of 16 students combined creativity, technical skills, and business thinking to make a real-world impact. Throughout the course, students designed and built products using an impressive range of tools, including a CNC wood router, CNC plasma cutter, laser cutter, vinyl cutter, and a variety of traditional woodworking equipment.
Students didn’t stop at making products—they built a business. Together, they launched an online store, hcdesigns.store, where they marketed and sold their work to the community. In total, students created more than 40 unique designs, gaining hands-on experience in product development, manufacturing, branding, and sales.
Most importantly, this project was driven by purpose. All profits from sales were donated to Paradise Bound Ministries, a nonprofit organization that has established and supports an orphanage in Guatemala. Through their hard work and collaboration, students raised an impressive $3,101 in profit to support the orphanage.
The HC Designs shop is now closed for the semester, but we look forward to reopening next fall with new students, new designs, and new opportunities to serve! We would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who supported our students by purchasing products, sharing our work, and encouraging this project. Your support helped turn student learning into lasting impact!
