I graduated from Tianjin University in China with a bachelor's degree in engineering. I also hold a master’s degree in curriculum instruction from Calvin University. I enjoy reading, traveling, and cooking authentic Chinese cuisine. Meanwhile, I am also a high school and college-certified soccer official. I am married to my wife, Kristi, and have four children. I am enthusiastic about teaching, particularly in Mandarin Chinese since I am inspired by how language can bridge cultural divides and promote understanding.
