I graduated from George Fox University in 2016 with a degree in Studio Art. I will be graduating in 2023 with a Masters of Art Education. I also was a substitute for Zeeland Public for 21-22. During that time, I taught at Zeeland Christian as a long term substitute for middle school art. My mom teaches art, and we had art supplies around the house. Drawing has always been my first love. I would draw on the church bulletins growing up and hope to share that same love of creating and making with students. Growing up, I always found comfort in Psalm 139; verse 14 declares, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” I hope to reflect that each student is made in the image of God and is fully known by the Great Creator.
