I graduated from Hope College in 2009 with a degree in Math for Secondary Education and joined the Holland Christian staff in the Fall of 2011. I enjoy teaching in a faith-based school where students and faculty alike can openly discuss and share their experiences on their journeys toward developing a deeper relationship with Christ. Looking at mathematics from a Christian perspective provides the subject a much deeper context: the formulas and proofs and equations things specifically designed by God that we are still uncovering. My wife Jessica and I enjoy staying active and being outdoors amongst God’s creation. We love to camp, hike, cross country ski, downhill ski, and do anything in or on the water. I am also an avid fly fisherman. We are members of the Moran Park church family.
