I grew up and went to school in Reynosa, Mexico. I first moved to West Michigan in 2004 after marrying my wife, Andrea Cantú, now a Spanish Immersion teacher at Rose Park. We worked and served in south Texas for 13 years before moving back to the area in 2018 with our son. I have enjoyed working in food service and custodial roles at Rose Park and it has been a blessing to have all three of us work and learn in the same building. I love talking with the kids at school and seeing the joy in their eyes as they tell me jokes or share what they are learning. I like to be able to support the teachers with any needs they have and take care of the plants in our greenhouse.
