I am a graduate of Calvin College and Grand Valley State University, where I had living and learning experiences that have shaped me significantly as a person and a professional. I worked for several years in Admissions and Student Life at the college level before pursuing graduate work in School Counseling. Our family of five lived in southwest Pennsylvania from 2010-2019. While there, I spent time working as a school counselor at Carmichaels Area School District.

I enjoy being active, time near water or mountains, music, authentic conversations, and supporting the team that my husband coaches. Walking alongside students and families during the high school years is something I count as an honor and a privilege. I love what I do and it's a joy to be part of the amazing community at Holland Christian.
