I graduated from Calvin College in 1999 and taught in Kentwood Public Schools for four years before having kids. Now my husband, Tim, and I have three children: Michael, Jonathan, and Becca. I was honored to stay home with them full time while they were young. When they entered school, I returned to work part time at Engedi Church. Now I’m thrilled to be teaching again. I love coming alongside students, helping them learn and grow.

In addition to teaching, I love playing board games with my family, serving in children’s ministry at church, and scrapbooking family memories on the computer. My favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:38-39 which tells us that God’s love is so big and so strong that nothing can ever separate us from it.
