I graduated from Holland Christian in 2001. From there, I went to Calvin College where I graduated with a B.A. in Education, Language Arts, and Health. I also earned a masters degree in reading from Grand Valley. I’ve been able to teach 6th grade as well as 8th grade Image Bearers. My husband Dave and I have three sons and one daughter: Hayden, Gavin, Hudson, and Kinsley Our life is never boring; it is a JOY to watch them grow. I consider it a privilege to be able to teach at Holland Christian. I love discussing the tough questions and digging into God’s purpose for us. He created us in His own image and gave each of us our own gifts and talents which we are called to use to fulfill His purpose. My goal is to help the students better understand how to actively live out God’s love.
