I was born and raised in Costa Rica, where I started a produce business that I led for several years until moving to Michigan in 2019. At that time, I left the business to my family, who has since opened another one. Currently, I work both at Holland Christian and my church, Intersection Ministries, as part of the custodial staff, and I am also studying Pastoral Ministry through ESEPA, a theological seminary in Costa Rica. I am a person who loves God and loves to serve Him. I am also very passionate about serving homeless people, listening to their stories, and learning about their lives. Currently, my family and I support a ministry in Costa Rica, Chepe Se Baña, which gives opportunities to these groups of people and I serve at the Refresh ministry here in Holland, as well. Working at Holland Christian has been a wonderful opportunity, as it has given me the ability to grow and learn not only about my job, but also about the culture. When I’m not working, you can often find me at home with my wife and young daughters, drinking coffee, or daydreaming about getting a Harley.
