I graduated from Purdue University in 2015 with a degree in English Education, and received my Masters in Curriculum Development in 2023. I joined the Holland Christian High School staff in 2021. My husband, Matt, works as an engineer, and we enjoy baking, writing, gardening, and exploring good books. We have one son.

I’m personally inspired by 1 Corinthians 10:31’s exhortation to believers: “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” Reading, writing, and thinking critically aren’t just academic pursuits; when done right, they are acts of worship, and I want to help my students honor their Lord with their learning.
