I was born and raised in West Michigan and have had a passion for music ever since I was in elementary school myself. After graduating from Hudsonville High School, I attended Grand Valley State University and received a Bachelor’s of Music Education in 2017. After graduating, I have gained experience teaching elementary and secondary music classes at both christian and public schools. I have been at Holland Christian since 2020.

My husband, Matt and I live in Jenison with our cat, Lacey. When I am not teaching I enjoy playing violin, traveling, and boating on Lake Michigan.

I enjoy teaching at Holland Christian because I get to teach a new generation of music makers while also encouraging my students to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
