I grew up in Zeeland and have largely been in the area my whole life! I graduated from Holland Christian in 2013 and went on to earn a degree in Integrated Science for Secondary Education with a minor in Chemistry from Calvin. My husband, Derek, and I have two young children who keep us very busy! We love to go on walks and spend time outside. I value giving back to the communities that have left a significant impact on my life which is why teaching and coaching at HC has been so meaningful. I have the honor of serving in a variety of roles at HC as HS science teacher, MS cross country coach, and HC2 PE teacher. I love witnessing God's creation in the world around us and through ourselves! He has designed us so wonderfully, and being able to share that with students through both study and movement is a gift.
