After teaching in Christian schools for 20 years, it is a joy to return back to the school I graduated from. I attended Dordt University for my undergrad and earned my M. Ed in educational technology from Central Michigan University. My wife, Lieschen, and I have two wonderful boys. Together we enjoy camping, swimming, off-roading and tinkering in the garage.

I am honored to teach Industrial Arts at HC. I have a strong passion for STEM education and sharing with students how we can use our gifts to glorify God. In the Christian school setting, we discover all that we design, build, and create can ultimately serve our Creator. As we strive to reflect His image, we have a greater purpose as we create to serve Him and others.
