I am a 1995 graduate of Hope College. While at Hope, I ran on the cross country team and pursued a degree in science and education. My teaching career began at the elementary level. I then went on to pursue my masters degree is in the area of reading instruction and taught pre-service teachers in this area at GVSU. Over the years, I have been blessed with a wide range of educational experiences and opportunities to work with students from elementary to adult. I also am blessed to be a wellness consultant.
My husband and I have three children and HC has had a tremendous impact on their lives. It is an honor to teach in a place where I can not only share the wonder of God’s world through science, but also to pray with my students and nurture them in their faith journeys.
