I am an HC grad and I received my B.A. from Calvin College. I began teaching kindergarten at Holland Christian in 2006. In 2011, I received my M.A. in Early Childhood Education from Grand Valley State University.

My husband, Tom, is the assistant principal at Holland Christian Middle School.

We love to spend time outdoors and with our adult children. We are members of Calvary Christian Reformed Church. I love teaching in a Christian school. Both in our formal lessons and in the everyday happenings in the classroom, there are so many opportunities to let children know that they are God’s special, unique creation. It is my desire that each child in my classroom will know not only “Jesus Loves Me” as a song to sing, but that they will also know that wonderful love in their hearts.
