I grew up in the Holland Christian school system and graduated in 2003. I earned my Special Education degree at GVSU and taught middle school special education for 10 years at Black River Public School. My husband, Ross, and I have three children. After we adopted our youngest from China in 2018, it was clear my time was needed at home full time. I spent a year as a full-time mom, but I knew I wanted to teach again in some capacity. I am excited to work at Holland Christian! I know first-hand the value that students gain from Christ-like mentors and teachers. Particularly at the middle school level, students ask questions about their self worth and what God's plan for them is. I desire to instill a love for the Lord in these students and affirm their worth on earth as kingdom seekers.
