I graduated from North Central University in Minneapolis, MN in December of 2014 with a B.S. in Elementary Ed. and a minor in Biblical Studies. After graduating, I moved home to Michigan and started my teaching career. I taught for seven years prior to joining HCS, all in upper elementary grades. My husband, Ryan, and I were married in 2017. We enjoy doing CrossFit, boating on Lake Michigan, attending sporting events (GO BLUE!), skiing/snowboarding, and any other fun outdoor adventures. It is one of my greatest joys to spur each student on towards finding their God-given gifts and ways they can use those to impact the Kingdom. I love to see how student relationships grow with God, and each other, as they are enjoying and learning from His creation within the Forest School and the outdoors!
